On 1st December 2016 Clive will be travelling to Australia in order to carry out a sponsored cycle ride between Rockhampton, Queensland to Melborne, Victoria, a distance of 4,000km, for his chosen charities, namely Brake, the road safety charity, and Linc (The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund).

Brake, the road safety charity, provides a confidential support network for bereaved families who have suffered the loss of a loved one following a road traffic collision.

Linc is a cancer support charity that works to improve the care of patients, and their families. Linc also give financial help to patients who are in difficulty as a result of their illness and fund new equipment for patients and also for the laboratory to help in the diagnosis and treatment of leukaemia, lymphoma and other cancers.

By doing this challenge Clive hope to raise awareness of both charities where they will both benefit from your generous donations.

The fundraising event at Old Cryptians RFC involves live bands and a BBQ from 2pm to 9pm on Saturday 16th July.
