We enjoyed a fantastic start to the weekend with the full English at the club Saturday morning, (big thanks to all those that made that for us) followed by the very entertaining Exeter Gloucester game in the afternoon. We then went bowling where we were able to catch up with a few old friend from Longlevens RFC.

The day was finished off with our first tour trial, however tour rules forbid me from saying anything about the proceedings, but needless to say Judge Snowdon was firm but fair.

We played three very good sides, beating Stonehouse Sharks from Plymouth in the first game 7 nil thanks to a great try by Joe Langbridge converted by Kieran Clarke.

In the second game against the very well organised home team, Credition, we came back in a brilliantly gusty display from 12 nil down to draw 12 all, with tries from Jack jones and Dion Paskins, with one conversion from Kieron.

We then went on to beat Falmouth 7 nil thanks to a try from Tom Rees, converted again by Kieron. The lads then spontaneously broke into 'We are the gloucester boys....' as they walked off the pitch! Awesome!!!! I have to say I felt very proud of them all, as did all the coaching team. These results really show how much we've improved this season.

So as already said a great way to end what been a most enjoyable season for me, and I hope for the lads. It puts us in a great place to start for next season.

Just like to say a massive thank you to Bill for arranging everything. It really is a huge undertaking and without all his hard work the tour wouldn't have taken place.
