I am reaching out to you all about VP Membership and to highlight the forthcoming
centenary year celebrations that club will be hosting during 2025. This is because we are
starting to plan for this landmark anniversary and aim to publish a full calendar of events,
running from January through till December, once these have been firmed up and agreed.

As you may be aware, VP membership has been offered as an option by the club for a long
time, and in the past, this has provided some much-needed revenue. More importantly though we feel that it allows ex-players and members to maintain links with old friends and their club.

Unfortunately, Sponsors/VP numbers have dwindled in recent years meaning this important relationship with our members is being lost in some cases. As we approach 2025, we believe that this milestone in the club’s history is a perfect opportunity to reach out to the Cryptian community, to reconnect with people in the run up to this special year.

Obviously, the cost of living has hit the club so your membership will help support the club’s Senior and Junior sides. In what are challenging times for local rugby this is much needed, and it is your support that will help ensure teams representing Old Cryptians will run out onto the pitch each week.

The cost of VP membership starts at as little as just £5 per month and in return we will host a
VP lunch this season on the 6th of April, and then we plan to hold a more of reunion events

We are asking that you pay a minimum of £5 per month. However, if you can afford a higher
monthly amount, then please email me with how much you are able to contribute, and we will arrange to collect this going forwards.
